Jackson Caged Played an absolute blinder at the city hall last night in front of 400+ people for the Live and Unsigned regional final! Thanks to everyone who came down and voted for us. We are now into the area final which is in Manchester on 9th May. More details to follow soon! Very exciting times. If we win in Manchester the next round is the national final at the O2 in London!

Hey guys. Really sorry but we are gonna have to cancel some of the gigs we have booked. Fraz and Mike are out in Austria right now and mike has taken a tumble while snowboarding. He has really messed his shoulder up badly - torn 4 ligaments and needs an urgent operation, so he'll be out of action for a while. Nightmare! As soon as he is ready we'll be playing gigs again - so we'll keep you posted...

We just want to say thanks for all the support we got throughout 2007 - lets hope 2008 brings happy times and successs for us all. December was a hectic month and no body can say that we've sat idly by watching the end of the year roll by! We've played our hearts out over December and hope you've enjoyed it as much as we have.
Big news since our last update, is that our guitarist Tez sadly left Jackson Caged, after deciding it was best that he devote his time to his family. Of course, we all wish him the best for the future. While the band won't be the same without him, we won't let this set us back and Karl is already relishing the big solos!
We'd also like to give a mention to Kelly at End Of The Tail Records (no, that isn't a typo) who put on the "Battle of the Bands" at The Casbah in Sheffield over Christmas... Hope you enjoyed the show Kelly! Guess that might have been hard though given that you didn't bother to watch a lot of the bands, as you'd apparently already made up your mind who would win. Lets just say it's your loss.
Our next gig is the Kerrang! showcase on 30th January at The Casbah. This is a real biggie, so we know you'll be down there to show us some love! Much appreciated, as always.
To all the true JC fans - keep it real, keep rocking and it'll happen for us all - never forget a single one of you - see you at the bar!

If you were out and about in north Sheffield on saturday night, chances are that you could hear Jackson Caged! We been told our set at the Wharncliffe Weekender could be heard loud and clear over 2 miles away! We also played on Tuesday night down at the Leadmill, supporting Kerrang favourites Flood Of Red, The Ghost of a Thousand and Zico Chain. It was an amazing night - thanks to all you guys who came to support us!
