It could be me. (Draw #31)

Another week, another lottery draw…

Numbers drawn: 10, 16, 25, 26, 32, 40 + bonus ball 46

My Numbers: 06, 09, 11, 23, 33, 44

No. of matching numbers: 0

Price of ticket: £1

Amount won: £0

Financial outcome: -£1

According to the Lotto people, over 520,000 tickets matched 3 balls and won £10 this week. Not me though. Not me. I probably earned another penny in interest on the Not A Lottery account though (i’m yet to check). Joy.

Lottery balance: £-31  //  Not A Lottery balance: £31.04

FaceNow.

I’ve just seen this Cult Of Mac article highlighting a new iPhone app called FaceNow. The app’s purpose is to allow you to make FaceTime calls directly without having to switch to FaceTime after first making the connection via a voice call.

The thing is, you can do this anyway. Just press the FaceTime button on your chosen contact’s entry. In fact, i don’t think i’ve made a FaceTime call yet by switching from a normal voice call. An utterly pointless app (which is hard to believe Apple have approved given their stance on feature duplication) and an utterly idiotic bit of blogging by Cult of Mac. Odd that they’d let someone that has clearly never used FaceTime write posts about it.

It could be me. (Draw #30)

Right, backlog cleared and we’re bang up-to-date. Here’s the outcome of ICBM draw number 30 (AKA National Lottery Lotto draw 1540, 25th September 2010)…

Numbers drawn: 19, 22, 30, 33, 35, 39 + bonus ball 05

My Numbers: 06, 09, 11, 23, 33, 44

No. of matching numbers: 1

Price of ticket: £1

Amount won: £0

Financial outcome: -£1

Well, this brings an end to a 4-draw streak of matching no numbers whatsoever… which is something i suppose but still doesn’t bag me any winnings.

Lottery balance: £-30  //  Not A Lottery balance: £30.04

It could be me. (Draw #29)

Outcome of draw number 29…

Numbers drawn: 04, 05, 16, 17, 20, 32 + bonus ball 03

My Numbers: 06, 09, 11, 23, 33, 44

No. of matching numbers: 0

Price of ticket: £1

Amount won: £0

Financial outcome: -£1

Leaving the two accounts like this:

Lottery balance: £-29  //  Not A Lottery balance: £29.04

It could be me. (Draw #28)

Outcome of ICBM draw number 28…

Numbers drawn: 04, 20, 21, 35, 39, 40 + bonus ball 28

My Numbers: 06, 09, 11, 23, 33, 44

No. of matching numbers: 0

Price of ticket: £1

Amount won: £0

Financial outcome: -£1

All of which leaves the two competing balances looking like this:

Lottery balance: £-28  //  Not A Lottery balance: £28.04
